This project was a tedious one, but not visually. We had to create a very simple template because it was going to be used across 20 websites/domains.

One change to our main template affects every other site so keeping the structure was simple because updating 20 sites each time the client made a request would rack up serious billing time. We saved the client money by initially creating a template every site would use and reference. We then created content for each site based on the printer the site was displaying. We’ve got it down to a factory setting now, making their frequent updates very efficient and budget friendly.

Besides Web Design and Web Hosting, we also run The Thrifty Planet Resource Guide; an earth friendly directory for finding all things green. It is a fully functional MySQL php run database that almost runs on its own.

Members can add listings, and control them with little interaction with us. We only verify listings when they come in, making sure they fit our submission guidelines. After that, users are free to change their listings to announce sales or retain their position in the category they’ve chosen.
